Alexa Skills Kit: Notifications
The Alexa Developer Console is Amazon’s platform for skill builders to create, publish, and maintain skills on Alexa. During my time on the Alexa Skills Kit team, I collaborated within a small group of UX Designers responsible for the core platform experience. I identified friction in the skill builder journey due to our existing notification system and championed a new notification system for our platform, including the introduction of a toolbar for errors and warnings, a notification center, and the redesign of pre-existing notification components. I led this effort from discovery through launch, including a design audit, user research (surveys and usability studies), component design, design guidelines for all new library components, onboarding teams to usage, user discovery, cross platform experience, and measuring success.
To maintain confidentiality of previous employers, this public portfolio only includes high level designs (primarily before and after’s) with little to no information about my design process. To view a private portfolio and learn more about my process, send me an email.

Account registration for Amazon Ads
I redesigned the account registration process for Amazon Advertising. This redesign was tied to multiple VP level goals and large account level changes. I simplified the registration process from a clunky multi-step cross-account effort to a streamlined and uninterrupted workflow. Users originally initiated registration depending on the type of Amazon account(s) they had, with different registration processes for each. Working with stakeholders across organizations I was able to address the individual needs of each account type and unify registration into one single workflow for our users.

Pay now feature in the billing portal
I designed a new payment feature for the billing portal across web and mobile web. This was the first feature allowing users to make one-time and manual payments on their accounts with downstream impacts to account level status and payment settings. I introduced the ‘deduct from payment‘ method alongside this launch, as well as updated table functionality in the billing portal to allow for multi-invoice payments, bulk actions, and improved search.
